6 How to Report bX Error Codes to Blogger
April 13, 2008 /

If you receive an error when posting to your Blogger blog or customizing your template, you may receive an error code, like this:

These "bX" error codes are unique to each problem encountered, and offer the Blogger team information about how this can be fixed.

Blogger have now implemented a form which you can use to report bX error codes directly to the Blogger team. When using this form, you should provide the following information which will help the Blogger team determine the problem and find a suitable solution:

  • The bX-code you received (eg: bX-1us3c3)
  • A description of what you were doing when you received this error
  • Your blog's URL
  • The browser you are using (eg: Firefox or Internet Explorer 7)

I doubt that the Blogger team would be able to offer a personal response to each report they receive, but you can be assured that the team will be working on a solution to ensure these errors are fixed as soon as possible.

Use the link below to report your own bX-codes to Blogger:

For more information about this, you may like to read the announcement on the Blogger help group. The Blogger help group also has many posts relating to known error codes, where you may find an solution to a problem you are experiencing with your blog.

I hope this information will be useful to many of you on the occasions when you may receive error codes when publishing your blog.

  1. You should also tell your readers that there is a way to bypass the error screen altogether. So far it has worked for me 100%!

So when people are reporting their error code problems to the blogger.com staff ask them for the bypass procedure. It is quite simple and not complicated at all!
