I'm so happy to have finally found a three column hack for this template! I've been googling it every once in a while and was so glad to find your site.

It seems that I can't change the text colors in the bottom sidebars. Is this a known issue?

Thanks for your fabulous hack! I'm getting ready to switch over...

Fantastic

Thank you!

I am now blogging in style! thanks. Come see it in action here:
Free Photography Stuff Blog

2 items I still need help with though.

For your template in general:

If you look at the template in the single post view the "post a comment" link at the bottom is nearly invisible (light green on a tan background) How could I change the color to a more obvious one?

next for my blog in particular:

I would like to change the "comments" link at the bottom of the posts to be "Leave a comment" and make it red or orange to stand out more.

Thanks again!

Ok fixed problem 1 by changing this line:

.comment-footer a:link {
color: #cc0000;
}

The original color was nearly identical to the background color.

Amanda I suggest you fix this on your template. It is the only bug I found in an otherwise outstanding piece of work

ok now headway on prob #2

I am able to change the color of the text "comments(0)"

by adding a line to html>body a.comment-link {
/* Respecified, for IE5/Mac's benefit */
background:url("http://www.blogblog.com/rounders3/icon_comment.gif") no-repeat 0 45%;
padding-left:14px;
color:#cc0000
}

However I would still like to change the text from "comments(0)" to "Leave a Comment (0)"

Ideas?

Hi Sabrina,

Thank you so much for your template and post color solution. I don't have words to thank. I was searching this 3 column template for a long time I got the same but I had the same post comment color problem. Your solution was really useful and fantastic. I have to add lot widgets and details in my blog. I have removed :( so many my settings due to this comment and template problem.

Thanks once again

Ditto on the thanks...it's a great template.

Bug: When you add a picture widget you get an extra underscore directly after the picture.

Fix: This happens because there is an extra space after the quickedit/image/IMG tag which is generated. To fix this do the following:
1. Save a copy of your current template
2. Open the template and look for the image tag which is <IMG expr:alt='data:title' expr:height='data:height' expr:id='data:widget.instanceId + "_img"' expr:src='data:sourceUrl' expr:width='data:width'/> under the 'quickedit' section toward the bottom.
3. When you find this line, you will notice that there is an </A> end tag after it on the line below and though it may look like it follows the ">" before it, there is actually a space or two (or tab) hiding in there.
4. To fix it, remove/delete all spaces between ...='data:width'/> and </A> so it looks like this:
<IMG expr:alt='data:title' expr:height='data:height' expr:id='data:widget.instanceId + "_img"' expr:src='data:sourceUrl' expr:width='data:width'/></A>
5. Save the template and you should be all set.

Kudo's again.

Amanda,

I to am curious on how to get an image behind the header text on a three column template.

Might it have something to do with the width of the new header? I'm trying to add a pic with the blogger page layout tool.

I am sooooo excited and grateful to find this 3 column layout! Thank you. My question is when i go to upload the template, it tells me that I will be loosing lots of widgets is there a way to keep these and apply the new template?

I just noticed same question as Adventurous Ammena above!:-)

8 October 2008 14:05 FutureSpot said...

Teal: Yes, I get the same warning and it can't be avoided. Prior to uploading the new template, save off your existing template. Also, prior to uploading the new template, I took notes on every widget (e.g. type and any other specific info etc). After I uploaded the new template I took a look at my notes and re-added the widgets which were removed and played around with it to get back to way I had it previously. If was feeling bold that day, I would even open up the saved-off old template and see what was different there. A little time consuming but once you have the new template updated with the widgets you want, you are all set. Btw, once you've got to a point you like, remember to save off the most current template so you can refer to it later if you have to do this again.

Good luck.

Hi,
Great template!

Quick question, is there a way to change the bottom sidebar background color? I would like to change it to a color similar to the Rounders 2 bottom sidebar color. Right now the color is very close to the main section background color.

Thanks for your help

Is it possible to remove the "AdThis" bookmark button from beneath my posts? Is it something that MUST stay there if I use your template?

Thanks!

Hi!
After spending many many hours on the net just to find a perfect 3-col blogger template, I have finally found one (some!) here! Great work!
But I have one question...how can I make the Rounder template a full screen layout (Holy Grail)? Please help...!
Thanks so very much!

In the Blogger version of the template, the 2nd right sidebar shares a background color with the header, instead of the post back ground color.

In the three column version here, though, both sidebars share a background color with the the post background.

Is there a way to edit it so it matches the original color scheme? I don't want my sidebars to overshadow my content.

Hi Amanda,

Great template - thanks!

I have some of the same probs as others:

The comments links seems to be broken. Can you please give us a fix?

I would like to remove the AddThis button from the bottom of each post.

Lastly, for some reason the reactions bar doesn't show even though posted.
