I really do appreciate suggestions for future posts here at Blogger Buster, and am currently writing up articles which have received the most votes in the Skribit widget in the sidebar.
Please do vote up any suggestions which you would like to see written about soon, or add anything you think should be included by using the "Suggest a Future Post" link at the top of the widget.
I would have to add this "recvent posts" to my blog, but I am looking for one way to not just show the posts title, but also the first 100 words (for example9 of each

The Beautiful Beta widget allows you to display a summary of your recent items (you can state the length in characters when installing).

My "recent posts" widget doesn't seem to be working today, so I went to Beautiful Beta and his site didn't look right. So I went to the Beautiful Beta Wiki, found the page about the recent posts widget, and the upload for it was disabled. I'm wondering what is up with Hans... or if something has happened in his life... I don't know...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, what I did was download the js script, hosted it myself, and replaced the Beautiful Beta url with my own. And now the widget works again.
What this might mean is that everyone who has this widget will now have to reinstall it with a different link to the js script.
It could also mean that there is a small glitch that will be resolved shortly and nothing will have to be done.
I just thought you should know there was a problem with that widget. I came here because I thought you might have one of your own, or you might have a "fix" for it.

Thanks for sharing the link. Valuable post that is. It is much better to have more than 5 posts displayed in the recent section of the blog. It provides the readers more choices, and ultimately prevents the reader from leaving the page.
