I have been a lurker here for quite some time and it made my day to see this template!

I have been looking for a template that was compatible in Explorer and Firefox for my recipe blog (Taj Wanders Recipes) and I love this!

I am using it now but I prefer Haloscan over Blogger commenting and it doesn't seem to be compatible with Haloscan. I was wondering if you know another way I could add Haloscan to the template?

Thank you for all your wonderful templates and great information!

Hello Taj,

I'm glad you like this template! I do test all my templates in both Firefox and IE now to ensure they are cross-browser compatible.

All Blogger templates are compatible with Haloscan commenting and trackbacks. However, the comments and trackbacks need to be installed manually on non-default Blogger templates as the installer does not work for them.

Unfortunately, Haloscan do not provide support for manual installation of their software, but I know it can be installed as I have done this a few times for readers blogs.

In fact, I've been meaning to post a tutorial on this for a while, and you've just reminded me about it! So, I'll get on with this now and will post the tutorial either today or tomorrow. If you need more urgent help, send me an email and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Hello again taj,

I've now made a post to help you install Haloscan commenting and trackbacks manually which you can read here:

http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/09/how-to-manually-install-haloscan.html

It is quite a long hack to do, but this does work effectively. Let me know if this helps!

Best wishes,

Amanda

Thank you Amanda! I will try the Haloscan hack over the weekend.

Not only does your site give great help and information but you also are always there to help should a reader get lost.

Thank you again!

Hello Myglitch,

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. I've just checked the demo for this template in both IE and Firefoc, everything seems to look okay.

If you would like to send me a link to your blog, I can take a look and see what the problem may be.

Hi,

First off, I love the template. After a little fiddling, I have it where I want it. Unfortunately, I did everything while using Firefox as my browser.

When I checked the site from another computer using IE, it seems that the template only extends to the length of the screen and anything past that is just on a white background and any text in the left column is lost.

You can view it at:

I believe that this may be the same problem as the person posting above me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Eric Devlin

Hi!

Just a quick follow up. I think that there is a problem when viewing this template in IE, but the problem is fairly minor UNLESS you add an image to the header, which is what I did. I finally realized that although it looked great in Firefox regardless, if I resized the image it would help viewing the blog in IE.
It's still not great in IE, but it is such a great template in Firefox that I can live with the problems in the one to get the great results in the other.
If anyone has any advice on how I can further minimize the problems in IE, please let me know.

And thank you for your hard work. The template is fantastic.

Hello Amanda!

I just modified this template of yours to a Christmas template, hope you don't mind and maybe wanna take a look to see the results. I left the credits to you and your site. Unfortunatly my blog's in Spanish, anyway I guess it would be nice if you see it.

Greetings.

I just uploaded your template and the transition was painless. I was thrilled to see you included the label cloud, which I didn't think was possible in Blogger.

Love the look of the site. Thanks so much for creating this template.

Amanda. I love this template with one small issue. I like adding blogger "jump breaks" in my posts to show snippets of the post on the first page and a link to the rest of the post. When I loaded this template, it erased my "read more" links. How can I fix this in the template? I'm fairly html dumb...lol

Ok. I figured out the "read more" problem but now I have no comment functionality on my blog. What's up with this thingy and how can I fix it. Thanks. http://365weightlossjourney.blogspot.com
