Most of the work on the new look Blogger Buster site is now complete. Luckily the shift didn't take quite as long as I thought!
There may still be a few minor errors and I am now checking the whole site to see what may need adjusting. Please do let me know if you discover something wrong with this new template!If you experience any major difficulties in using the site today, please email me on amanda [at] bloggerbuster [dot] com and I'll try to help you out as soon as possible.
Why "Beta"?
I'm launching the new site in Beta for at least a week or so until I am sure there are no flaws in the design, missing links, script errors and such. As I'm sure you will understand once you've seen some of the changes, the new template is a major reconstruction for the whole of Blogger Buster, and it will take some time to perfect everything.
I do appreciate your patience during this time, and will soon provide a full explanation of all the changes I am making.

Wow, I appear to be the first! Congrats on the reboot, looks great. Much cleaner, simpler and easier to navigate. Looks much more professional. : ) Big thumbs up.
Bits I particularly like: the tabs, menus on the right (particular obsession of mine for the RSI!), the subtle logo by the page curl and most of all your little intro bars at the top of each section.
Personally I'd rather have popular posts up higher (nearer the fold at any rate), cos that's the bit that tends to remind me, 'Oh I've not read that one yet'. I get though that it's one of those utterly frustrating things where you spend hours going "that's more important that should be at the top. No that should be. No maybe that." ; )
Nice job anyway! Oh, is the bottom righthand corner supposed to not be curved?

The bottom corners are both supposed to be round, I'll go fix that now... (thank you for pointing this out!).
I'm still toying with the order of sidebar widgets and a few other aspects of the design, so there may be some more changes soon.

Amanda, I don't know if it's just me, but the post pages redirect to the comment pop-up page. :(
Just checked in both Firefox and IE - both seem to be redirecting to the right pages. Which particular pages does this happen with?
I am having a few compatibility issues with IE vs Firefox which I'm working on now. Hopefully this will all be sorted out soon!
You did a great job with the new template! Really like it. Keep it up!

Oh yes, I experienced the redirection error that Angel mentioned above as well but somehow I am not able to reproduce it now... *weird*
Hi it is me again, the blog comment flooder (some call me the biological spam machine)! Seriously (for once), I was able to reproduce the comment redirection issue. Deleting the cookies for your site did the job. Might not be much of an issue as the problem will not reappear after that...but then again, it might hinder first-time-visitors from reappearing.
Anyway, just thought I should let you know!

@Thomas: thank you for letting me know about this. I think it may be a glitch of the inline comments feature , so I may have to reconsider using this :(
@Thomas and Angel: which browser do you use? When I use IE to access the post pages, I always get the message that I'm viewing over a secure connection, and wonder if this may have something to do with the glitch?

@Amanda, I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.7. Tried with Safari, too. Redirects as well for 1st time visits. :(
Oh dear, this is a nuisance! I can only imagine this is due to the security employed by Blogger for the commenting system, and am unsure if I can rectify this in the template itself (though I will look into it).
Perhaps I may have to use regular comments after all :(
Amanda: I am using Firefox 2.0.0.7 as well.
I've now removed the "inline comments" from this template until I've figured out how to fix that glitch. Unfortunate, I know, but I would prefer new visitors not to be put off by the redirection on post pages.
Just now I'm changing the template slightly to make these comments look a little better, and will also edit my posts about this hack to warn other readers of the potential problems.
