my seo seems pretty tight, it is much like the main competitors who has a pr3 with less incoming links with less pr from those incoming links. Does anyone have any suggestions for me here? Anything would be appreiciated.

I'm no expert in SEO or PageRank, but I will try to research this subject to help with a future post.

As far as I can tell, Google lowers the PR of sites where it can detect paid links (such as PPP and TLA links). I doubt that unpaid links would result in PR penalties, unless there are dozens of these per page.

If you use Google's webmaster tools, you can ask for reconsideration of PR status. So lost PR can be restored as long as your site meets the appropriate requirements (ie: no paid links, PPP posts and the like).

Hi Amanda, my new domain received a PR2. I'm happy but try not to get excited since I don't know how long this will last. My other blog in blogspot has not gained the PR it lost. Can you write a post about reciprocal links? Do you think it helps or not in getting PR from Google? Thanks.
